SOUND OF BARRA FERRY
From Barra (Ardmhor) to Eriskay -
This ferry takes aproximately 50 minutes. A 60 mile drive through South and North Uist followed by a 1 hour 40 minute ferry to Skye will take you back to the mainland. The Skye/North Uist timetable is given below for reference.
This route is not recommended during winter as the ferry may be unable to sail in bad weather.
